Expression Networks Awarded Navy SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort NxG)
Congratulations to Expression Networks on receipt of its SeaPort Next Generation Contract (SeaPort NxG) contract award. The U.S. Navy awarded the new prime contract to Expression Networks for its SeaPort NxG contract vehicle, the follow-in to SeaPort-e.
The government estimates approximately $5B in services will be procured per year via orders issued under the SeaPort-NxG multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts (MACS). The contract will allow Expression Networks to compete for individual task orders for the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps. Expression Networks will be involved with SeaPort NxG for the better part of the next decade.
SeaPort NxG provides for Engineering and Program Management Services that span the entire spectrum of mission areas and technical capabilities in 23 functional areas supported by the Department of the Navy. The engineering services category covers functional areas such as engineering, system engineering and safety and process engineering support; software engineering, development, programming and network support; modeling, simulation, and analysis support. Functional areas under the program management services category include financial analysis and budget support; quality assurance support; functional and direct programmatic administrative support; logistics support; professional development and training support, and computer systems analysts.
Expression Networks will compete for individual task orders in the company’s areas of expertise which include: spectrum engineering and management; software development; systems engineering; information assurance; enterprise architecture; data analytics; machine learning; and numerous subsets of these fields. Expression Networks has developed a wide array of capabilities during the last quarter of a century that will align with numerous functional areas and engineering services desired by the Department of the Navy.
