On March 18, 2010, Expression announced that its e-commerce offerings interoperated with the Microsoft Solution for Supplier Enablement. The integration used EN Gateway for Microsoft BizTalk Framework to connect suppliers with enterprises and online marketplaces.
The release also described support from Expression’s Collaborative Procurement applications and cited networking supplier UTS as a user conducting online transactions. Its aim was to simplify supplier onboarding and enable internal management of catalog and content tasks. The integration supported suppliers seeking to sell across multiple online channels.
