On August 10, 2021, Expression and Global Healthcare Exchange described a Phase 2 NETCCN effort to anticipate medical supply constraints and disease hotspots. The announcement identified USAMRDC as the awarding organization, MTEC as the contracting route, and HHS as the sponsor.
Expression planned to combine GHX’s healthcare supply-chain information with other data and AI/ML methods to build a supply-constraint predictor. The prototype was intended to improve visibility into emerging demand and inform decisions such as Strategic National Stockpile deployment. The work formed part of NETCCN’s broader effort to expand access to remote critical-care resources.
